- A 10ml BAC (Bacteriostatic Water) vial is a sterile, multi-dose diluent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is primarily used to dissolve and reconstitute freeze-dried (lyophilized) compounds. The preservative restricts bacterial growth, allowing the mixed solution to remain safely usable for up to 28 days.
